Thoughts...
Hello everyone. This is Sarah, Ken's fiancee.
He wanted me to post a little note letting everyone know that he is in the ICU with pneumonia. It was pretty scary at the beginning. He went into the ER on Monday morning thinking he was having an asthma attack. They were minutes away from intubating him. He was released after it appeared his breathing was better under control. That evening, he called me at work very upset and 20 minutes later I was home and we were on our way back to the Hospital.They though he had a pulmonary embolism (blood clot in the lungs) and possibly pneumonia. Also, several of his body levels were either too high or too low. He was unable to move without being in excruciating pain. Around 1 am he was admitted to the ICU. They have now ruled out a pulmonary embolism but are still sticking with the pneumonia. His levels have all stablized and he is improving nicely. Hopefully, they will release him within the next few days.
