Mark is a lazing-in-the-sun-eating-all-the-food-seemingly-harmless-keeping-to-himself-turning-on-you-with-unexpected-savagery-when-you-displease-him cat.
JJP need no explanation.
BamBam is a playful, always trying to impress, following the pack, easily wounded but bounds back wanting to please looking for affection dog.
Yugyeom, Jackson & Youngjae are ridiculous puppies.

I had no idea Mark & BamBam would have such a split vote. I need to know reasons for Mark being a dog. I can understand preening BamBam cat, although I wholeheartedly disagree.

DARN THIS. BECAUSE I MOSTLY AGREE AND SIMILAR REASONING HAS BEEN REPLAYING IN MY HEAD SINCE I VOTED CAT. i remain torn and confused and displeased about it tho. i think he felt like too proud a dog to me, was what swayed me (/tl;dr version lol).

can't help you with dog!mark arguments bc #TeamCatMark 👌

I think his pride/vanity are cat-like, but I think they're mostly a facade and not the ~real BB. Like, what kind of cat would nickname themselves Double B, and then push that nickname that no one else calls him on every variety show going? Cat!JJP would never, Puppy!YugJaeSon totally would.

i'm with you on the vanity/bravado as a facade but the pride i mean is more about this inner sense of pride next to the fragile validation-seeking pride (e.g. i find jackbam rly similar but jackson felt much more people-pleasing/all over the place to me on real men whereas it brought forth bam's more steadfast sides), and possibly ~~unpopular opinion but i find his professional priorities much more defined than just ~here to meme and have a good time~.

... is this even relevant to the dog vs cat question, lol. IDK, STILL NOT COMPLETELY CONVINCED OF EITHER TBH. wounded puppy's rebound into more pleasing isn't completely straightforward to me either (tho ia) because at a certain point he withdraws instead, and like jaebum said, he's glad he was able to gain bambam's trust, which i don't think he gives out that easily, deep down.

i mean, if he's a dog, he's a questionable dog, and if he's a cat, he's a questionable cat, imo, lmao. (ilu bambam)

(AHEM SORRY ABOUT GETTING ALL SRS BSNS ABOUT THIS 😂)

Loool I forgot about how funny he was on Real Men. I am agreed re professional priorities because it's obvious BB wants to do well, he just can't figure out how to do well.

I actually had written a sentence about him being sulky, but realised that he was more cat-like in his sulkiness ( a Jackson dog-sulky is a fake-sulky to get a reaction, but BB does a sad-hurt-alone-sulk which is more a JB cat-sulk) so I left it out to suit my own narrative because I'm a cat like that.

So, what we've concluded is that on the Cat to Dog scale of GOT7, BB is the centre. The REAL question is, what does BamBam think he is?

Officially Unoffical Cat to Dog GOT7 Scale

←Cat to Dog →
JB > Jinyoung > Mark > BamBam > Youngjae > Yugyeom > Jackson

you already witnessed my enthusiastic appraisal of the greatest scale to ever exist on twitter, so i'll just add that

( a Jackson dog-sulky is a fake-sulky to get a reaction, but BB does a sad-hurt-alone-sulk which is more a JB cat-sulk)

yes good nice 10/10 pleasure doing business with you 🙏
