so today started off a little bumpy. sometimes the chemicals mix wrong and miscommunications just make conversation difficult. after we took a moment to prioritize (yes i love you. i love you too) we were fine.
we both got cracked by dr. debby. her cute pug, emma, was happy to see us with her new toy, a puple sheep chew that "bleated" when you squeeze it. lol. she wanted to play play play. my right scapula has been on fire and dr. debby definately helped it by massing it out and then cracking my back and neck.
after we got worked on, we headed over to aaron brothers to get frames for the glossy 8" x 10" posters of our favorite model, apnea, by her hubby, lithium picnic. they are being sued by suicidegirls injustly and we bought the prints as a way of supporting them. the pictures are gorgeous and the colors are way brighter than we expected. so vivid and beautiful. we are going to hang them up soon i hope. we got simple black frames.
then came lunch. we headed to a new place for us. it's called "the taj palace". they serve a $10 lunch buffet and the food was decent if not surprisingly good. i had chicken tiki masala and the tandoori chicken. both good. such a good deal. the woman who helped us was profusely friendly. she had a real casual professionalism. immediately had a comfortable vibe. we plan on going for an afternoon and eat and write or read. we noticed that a guy behind us was reading a book. we asked what he was reading and he showed us... how nice to find that he's reading "enduring love" (which was made into a fantastic movie).
after lunch we took mackie to miyuki dog park. we walked around the park almost 2 times which is more than usual. yay excercise! mackie was very happy. she was good. we got her doggie cookies and she gobbled them down. lol. she's crazy. there were some really cute doggies at the dog park that's connected. there was a minpin who was way louder than he looked. still so cute.
before we completely pooped out i suggested that we stop at wolf camera to pick up an application as i may see about getting part time work in a photo lab. while we were there i got nicole looking at a nikon D40 with a really nice lens. and after a little hem-hawing we left the store with a brand new camera. i'm excited for her i can't wait to see what kind of photos she is going to take with it. :) :) :)
so that's pretty much our day. now i'm in the bedroom watching the sun dip down painting the hills orangey.
