hell-o coppers in the sky, why oh why?
after a night like this, i am compelled to remember what i have realized.
Do not let them make you a victim
we are rulers of love and light and no one will take that away.
no hello-copters in the sky with lights shining down in mine eye,
forcing us to fight or flee, weeee.
we ran.
we left, we stashed our stashes in our socks and ran the directions they were not.
and no, they will not have to wipe the snot from this kiddies eyes,
because we do realize, their lies do not have to take their toll in our lives.
and TONIGHT!
THIS night.
is the
50th anniversary of the occupation of Tibet by chinese government. March 10th, the exile of the dalai lama occured and more than 200 people were killed by China's army, just last year, in a monk led protest. Not to mention the 87,000 Tibetans left for dead and a further 80,000 who fled to neighbouring countries in the 1959 revolt.
What will be of them?
