I came in to work this morning to find pen parts lying around on my desk, looking like the aftermath of a ritualist sacrifice. Mom knows nothing, Daddy doesn't play at my desk, and the shop cat was crated for the night, lest he summon his humans by setting off the alarm's motion detector.

Weird.
