Just worried now that I will get a bad grade in this class. I've been talking to a lot of people in the class, and they seem to think I have nothing to worry about either.

And a friend in Hebrew class who tends to be "OMFG" about making bad grades like me, said that if the professor said not to panic then I shouldn't panic. She also said that ( Read more... )

You'll be fine, Selena. Even highschool dropouts can make something of themselves with some luck and the right attitude. I couldn't honestly tell you how much this sort of thing stays with you after college, but I do know you could do a lot worse than flunk one language class and still get back on your feet. Odds are it won't even affect your overall future at all. And like you said, you probably won't fail it anyway. ^_^

*Hugs tight* Best of luck, whatever the case!

*hugs back*

It's not my language class, it's my history class. Which is an elective. A lot of people have been telling me one random bad grade in one random elective class probably will hold less weight than really good grades in core classes in the admissions decision anyway. So, I'm really trying my best to not flip out.

Thanks guys, you have no idea how much you are helping me. :)

They've all got a point, love. You've already done better than 99% of the people out there. You have nothing to worry about, because I know how intelligent you are, and how hard-working and dedicated you are. Everyone is proud of you and supports you, and we all want to see you happy. We already *KNOW* you'll succeed, so your happiness is our primary concern. :)

Just know you've always got people to talk to, people to get hugs from, and people who know that no matter what happens, you'll make something of yourself. You're just too awesome of a person not to, and you've already done more amazing things than most people have in their entire lives. You've made movies, cooked for huge dinners, impressed people at DDR, traveled a bit around the country, and fallen in love. :)

We're all sooooo, so proud of you, Selena. Never forget that. Hell, I'm just proud that I get to be such a big part of such an amazing person's life. :)
