My brother was re-located from his federal work camp prison in Pensacola to an awesome facility in Polk County (which is only like three hours away from me). He's a part of this faith-based dorm which only has like 50 people who share a dorm built for 75. He signed up for a football league which he is way stoked about and he may even be able to start some sort of vocational training of his choice. They even have a media room with shelves full of books, a t.v. and v.c.r., and air conditioning! My brother knows he was moved for good behavior but he is not sure why he was lucky enough to get into the faith-based dorm (which has a bunch of perks). My guess is an employee of the old facility nominated him. Regardless, it's awesome! I'm very happy for him.
I'm getting a MacBook for my birthday. I brought the idea up to my parents (who are inherently opposed to any type of money-spending) and they said no way, it's a waste of money, etc etc. Luckily my sister and her boyfriend bought one last week so they were able to swoon my dad with it. I guess he kind of fell in love with the computer so my sister said he's totally getting it for me. I was suspicious but now my parents aren't even hiding it! They told me they visited the Mac store last night. They know I want the black 13" MacBook but I have a feeling they're going to try to save a couple hundred bucks and give me something else. I'm still okay with that; I can always bring it back and pay the difference for the one I want. They really make getting what I want way too easy for me (but that's not really a complaint).
My friend Brady is tattooing me in the next week or so, hopefully as soon as Sunday. It's going to be big and awesome and my parents will probably want to kill me. You will see!
