It's amazing how, even after three and a half years at Durant, I still discover new things. For example, today I found myself in a small, empty room I've never been in before or even seen the door to. Going even further, I walked into a secret single-person restroom that was clean and untouched by filthy students. It was kind of cool.

Anyway, I also discovered one of the coolest sports ever today: Curling. We turned in on during homeroom and watched the U.S. women's league versus Norway, and I just couldn't get enough of it. The poise. The finesse. The strategerie. It was "chess on ice," as one commentator referred to it. I watched the men's league when I got home from school, too. If you want to watch it, it's on CNBC at 3 and 5, women's team versus Canada and Japan.

You can bet I'll be watching, and supporting my country!
