That's really interesting, I had never thought of it that way. I guess I agree, because there's no other way that it's a big deal one way, and not the other. Hm, points to ponder.

I think it's important to distinguish between cross-dressing and wearing clothes traditionally assigned to the opposite sex. A good friend of mine wears skirts of a summer evening, because they're comfortable, and when he does he's not identifying with femininity in any way.

I'm not sure I feel up to an in-depth examination of gender expectations tonight, though, so draw your own conclusions from what I've already said.

Not really interested in cross-dressing from male-to-female, but more so with female to male.

i never thought of it that way
i guess women's dress is much more separately, women's
and also to display an interest in fashion usually indicates to society you're gay, if you're a man
