well, it's less tragic when you learn that we rent this place. however...it's really tragic when we have to explain that it broke again. This is the third time in 2 years...and our landlord could have forked out for a whole new one by now.
it's only tragic for me because i have to do dishes by hand...and i have to clean my house for the inevitable visit from the landlord.

i just wish he would fork out the money for the new one.
$200 is great--considering what a plumber costs!!!
and if he raises the (very reasonable) rent, well, the plan is to move soon anyway.
