Julie has the hat, Spanner has the Mosca.
Spanner may be one of the few people in existence who can steal Julie’s hat and get away with it.
At this moment, the Simon illusionist is sitting impatiently, waiting for the mechanic to satisfy his curiosity with regards to his fedora. Spanner turned it over in his hands, twirled it around a finger, and set it on his head, flicking it at an angle, to imitate Julie’s usual way of wearing it. Julie grumbles and reaches over, adjusts it to the correct angle, and leans back on his hands to consider the mechanic.
It wasn’t that the sight of his boyfriend in any article of clothing that belonged to him wasn’t a delightful one- but it was the hat. Spanner should understand, he had the Mosca after all, and yeah, Julie couldn’t actually do anything with that, but- -
“Am I wearing it right, Julie?”
“… Picture perfect, babe.”
