I haven't checked the comm directly for updates lately (read: in the last two days, because dude! VMAs!), but I think winchestercon is over early Sunday afternoon, so I'm planning on getting a ticket to Griffith Observatory for Sunday night. If they ever put up the reservation page for October, that is.
Anyway, I know a bunch of people on the flist are also going to Wincon, and I figured if some of them are staying Sunday night too, they might want to go to the observatory in a pack of fans. Something. Yeah, so. It's the place Sal Mineo dies at in Rebel Without a Cause? And is generally a really awesome thing? Yay astronomy, etc.

Unrelatedly, the bf just nearly ran into our ex on the bus (she didn't get on, probably 'cause she saw him. Whatever). I predict this happening several times in the next four months, since he's driving in her neighbourhood two days a week now. Hopefully she doesn't think he's stalking her or some shit.
