Hi! I was caught up in a bandom friending meme and the repercussions thereof all day. Fun times!
1. I've decided to have a separate RPF index on chimeras and link directly to that from azurejay, but leave the customary links back to the main index in. That makes no sense. Oh well.
2. I need a haircut, but if I go get one Right Now, I'll need to get another one Right Before Wincon. So I think I will leave it until mid-September, that way I only have to get one haircut in the next two months. Win!
3. About "Dallas" (which, it's been a year since I've talked about it, probably--it's Sports Night with miscellaneous Caseyhet and the inevitable D/C UST and a lot of Lisa and insanity and Abby Being A Shitty Therapist. Now you have a reason to care about it or not). I am of several minds regarding what to do with it. I don't think I'm up to finishing it. But it is forty-five pages and it is really good. I have A Plan to possibly help me finish it, but if that doesn't work--I dunno. I think it's an important story. I think it has those things in it that I do when I write--unexpected and unique insights, commas, and plenty of zingers. I don't want to abandon it and/or leave it to gather dust. (Also, I want the feedback. SHH DON'T TELL ANYONE I'M HUMAN.)
We'll see if A Plan works, and then who knows, I guess.
4. That's all. Oh! I'm v.v. jealous that wilde_stallyn gets to see Panic! at Bumbershoot this weekend (and also go to Gender Odyssey) (oh man I just had the "what if they booked the concert so [insert band member here] could go to the conference" thought. NOES I don't write Panic!).
