The other birthday present I am getting myself is No Sweat sneakers (low tops, omg. High tops make me look even shorter and chubbier, if it is to be believed). They're out of stock in my size right now for direct order, but I can order from a distributor or wait until mid-September. Either way. New sneakers! Cruelty free ones! For the same fucking price as my shitty (yet beloved for their shittiness) Airwalks wtf.
Lastly, as if you care, if they still exist at Christmas time, I'm totally buying those green Draven Misfits slip-ons with the argyle. I OWE THEM TO MYSELF AND MY INNER PATRICK (my inner Patrick wears slip-ons. My outer one, like the actual one, doesn't so much. But! Green! Argyle! Misfits!).
That reminds me. Must do the stencil for my "HXC DORK: I liked argyle before it was cool" shirt. Right. Anyway. eta: Better: "DORKXCORE: etc." Oh yes. Because I'm not really a dork about hardcore (well, sometimes), which is what the original thing implied. So.
