I finished the story with the horrid plot again (almost--have to add a scene I don't have the words to write right now)! Yays! Off to beta again (the missing scene isn't going to need betaing, probably)! Huzzah!
I have nothing to do tonight, and a little money. I might to go the record store. Have to buy Wolf Parade's thing. The bf was talking about getting some overtime, in which case I would just be bored and alone at home until midnight--might go see a movie, so that I can be bored alone in a theatre with other people.
Saw Ishmael Beah on The Daily Show last night. Holy shit, man. And, you know, what's his name still owes me aftercare for Blood Diamond, so. I want very badly to read A Long Way Gone, but I don't know if I can do it. This is a strange feeling for me.
Who knew! Child soldiers are the one thing that will make my figurative testicles retreat into my literal abdominal cavity!
Lastly, mightyfastpig is presenting his latest History of Sadomasochism talk at The Art of Loving at seven-thirty on Tuesday (February 20). If I remember to register, I'll be there. It's ten dollars. And yeah. You have to register.
