After lunch, there will be An Open Letter To Aaron Sorkin. Before lunch (ie, now), there are S60 icons. Briefly: I'm going to pretend from now on that I was correct and
Amanda Peet is Amanda Tapping, okay? Because actual Amanda Peet is annoying the hell out of me. Right.
Last night, I wrote my coming out letter to give my parents with When Someone You Love Is Kinky. Needs some polishing, but it's pretty good. Very comprehensive. With structure, too!
Also. Omg. VisionTV is re-running Everwood at nine on Mondays. Omgomg. I missed the first two weeks, but "Friendly Fire" was on last night. And while I kept being struck by how old everybody on S60 looks now (because I haven't seen some of them on TV in, like, three years), it was kind of sweetly sad to think on how young all the Everwoodians looked back then (because I haven't seen these episodes in, like, three years).
I was struck by the fact that as much as I adore Supernatural, as fan as I am for it, I'm not ever going to experience fandom or a TV show the way I did Everwood s1. There's never going to be another singular community like that (even if some members did ship wrong things twice in a row), and I've grown up too much to be who I was in that fandom. I'm perfectly content to hang in my own journal and construct my own shit now.
For that matter, I'm never going to have another West Wing (which is only logical, since it was my first real fandom and you can't have two first somethings), or another Sports Night (the DVDs were recced in the National Post this past weekend! Yay!).
Anyway!
Physio and picking up my laundry tonight and House and Veronica Mars, yay.
Bye.
