It's weird to open an e-mail from Amazon.ca and see "i ate the lotus" as one's name. 'Twas one of my handles, lo these many years ago. I really like the song and the phrase and the sentiment. Anyway. Ordered In a Coma (deluxe edition, regular version linked through). I will totally pwn this time, boer!
Obviously I am back from Harrison. It was nice. I like the town. Very pretty. Hilly and green and things. Seriously tiny (like, no-grocery-store tiny). But nice. And I don't mean "nice" in that politically correct way that means I can't find anything actually nice to say about the place. It was really nice.
My parents are talking about buying some property and opening a little cottage motel (with cottage-type units or actual cottages) out there in a few years. I think it would be cool to offer artist-friendly spaces--decent desks and chairs and little patios for painting, etc.
Firefly still isn't here. I'll be up at six tomorrow morning to watch the marathon on SPACE. Some of it will probably have to be taped, alas. The bf will no doubt want to watch teevee at some point.
