Orogeny

Due to my lack of life, I wrote this hehe:

Orogeny

by Christopher Aucoin

Rolling hills
And steep ascents
A feverous thrill
A natural scent

Muffled groans
And unseen waves
Stifling moans
With eyes enslaved

Molten heat
An thinning air
An earthly treat
 Nature's affair

A sudden shriek
While halting fondly
The jagged peak
Of the orogeny

or

Ode to Orogeny

By Christopher Aucoin

In the lands of rolling hills

And also steep ascents

Providing life a feverous thrill

A sweet and natural scent

On the air were muffled groans

Of rock and unseen waves

Through the crust a stifling moan

With nature’s eyes enslaved

Temps do rise to molten heat

And gasps of thinning air

Shares with life an earthly treat

The world’s innate affair

Ending with a sudden shriek

Motions halting fondly

Reaching the explosive peak

The swift and great orogeny

Be nice pwease ;-)
