This weekend while at the Arcade, I met a person who turned out to be very interesting. He isn't from Califonia, but is forced to be out here because his home is underwater. After surviving the hurricane, he snuck on a bus to the airport, and took a plane to come live with a friend in California. In the past three days I've managed to hang out and play DDR with him two of those days. He's liking it out here so far. I was beginning to feel bad for not yet donating to help, but offering my friendship and making someone feel welcomed here makes me feel like I'm helping out in some way. Hopefully he enjoys his stay here, whether it be temporary or permanent.
