Fans invading Yunho and Changmin's privacy...
.. and my leaving Twitter because of it.
Perhaps my leaving Twitter makes no difference at all but I had to do it. Why?
I can’t stand reading about fans stalking Yunho and Changmin. In the US, in Canada, in Japan, in Korea or anywhere, basically. It’s just not okay. In fact, by now I am so pissed at the majority of silly, obsessive fangirls in this fandom that I feel like I am about to explode. To say I am frustrated is an understatement.
Waiting for them at the airport, every single time they go somewhere?
Waiting for them in front of their hotels 24/7?
Waiting for them in front of stores they’re supposed to be in?
Following them on the street so close they have no space to breathe let alone think?
That is not healthy fan attitude - not for Yunho and Changmin and not certainly not for the fans who believe it’s okay. It’s not okay.
Bitches, do you honestly believe you love them more than the other fans who respect their privacy do? Do you, really?
Now that I have seen how ugly the face of the fandom can be, even in love and worship, I admire Yunho and Changmin even more for tolerating Cassies’ bullshit behaviour.
Kudos to the fans who find normal outlets for their adoration and show their love in a respectful way that doesn’t make Changmin feel so on edge he does this:
Bravo to the fans who realize that you don’t have to scream and shout, to hold up signs or to stick a camera in your favorite idol’s face to show your support.
And hats off to the fans who can tolerate other “fans”’ bullshit. I can’t anymore.
Yunho and Changmin deserve better than that.
