Its been over a month since I've even thought of posting in this thing. During that time, I'm pretty sure a lot of you forgot I existed, which is fine. You may rest assured that I have been keeping up with you folks this last month or so, although you might not believe it.
I spent most of July in Missouri, about thirty miles outside of St. Louis in a city called St. Charles. Nice place, but very humid. Some of the things I did: flew an airplane, ate at three fast food places I did not previously know existed, saw family I haven't seen in nine years, and came to the conclusion that I want a pet beagle. Two days after my return from Missouri, I and the Mass. family promptly split for the White Mountains of New Hampshire for a weekend of being spoiled. Ate a great dinner on the Saturday night and an even better brunch on Sunday morning. Met two very cute girls from Manchester who just happened to be up for some R&R as well, which ended up being rather nice.
The whole reason behind having time for these trips, of course, is that I am at present unemployed. That's right, I finally told the fuckfaces at Starwood where they could stick it. It wasn't a totally wise thing to do in the long run, but the feeling of satisfaction I got from it was rather nice. They were long overdue for the reaming I gave them, and I hope they continue to suffer from it for a good long while afterwards. Thankfully, I'll still be getting a positive reference from them as I continue searching for a new, more fulfulling occupation. I've already applied for several paralegal positions at area law firms, most of which I am well qualified for. So we'll see how that works.
I've begun to have thoughts of perhaps hitting up law school later on down the road. Turns out I ended up making the kind of grades necessary to just barely get me into a somewhat decent law school. I'm definitely getting paralegal certified first, and then once I actually have some capital to my name I'll try for higher education. But we'll see how that all pans out.
Still nothing on the female front. You're all a bunch of ragged cunts most of the time, some of you women are. I'm beginning to think that I'm better off without even having one in my life. *pause for self-pity and loathing*
