This is a house that I visited this past Saturday. Normally, I'd skip a house with a McCain/Palin sign in the yard. Chances are, their mind is made up already. However, as I was walking down the sidewalk (from the right) I didn't notice the sign. It wasn't until I knocked on the door & turned around that I saw it glaring back at me. As soon as I saw it, the lady of the house opened the door. I told her that I was with the Obama campaign and that I didn't notice the M/P sign in the yard. To my surprise, she stepped out on the porch and said that she's not voting for M/P, that the sign was her husband's and that he had just told her that he wasn't even going to vote this year. She told me to take down the M/P sign and replace it with an O/B sign for herself. Of course, even with permission I won't take down an M/P sign, especially while canvassing for O/B, but I did put one of ours up next to it & snapped a quick picture. Score one more for the team.
