I have been reading some posts here today and trying to catch up on what is happening with everyone. It seems like everyone is located pretty far away now and it is almost hard to remember when we were all in the same city and (most of my friends here) were dancing swing at various places like rumors, willowbrook ballroom and fizz every week. I just wanted to post that it is the Chicago Air and Water (but no one really watches the water part) show time again and the F-18s in the Blue angels are gaving fun buzzing the buildings on the lakefront. They are starting things off early this year with a show at 3pm on Friday with Bill Murray parachuting out of a plane with a skydiving team. So ( Read more... )

 I used to post lists daily about new websites and things I ran across that I liked but I haven't in a while. It just has been too busy to do that sort of thing. I was someone not much interested in the world beyond my town growing up but as an adult I am finding that my life crosses paths with information, entertainment, work and design from all over the world every day.
