Originally uploaded by Eric FischerThis is a cool data visualization of photos taken in and around Chicago. Its interesting that the city is more active in photography than the suburbs. It may also be that city people are more into posting their photos online. Its probably not that suburbanites take fewer photos, we know they are taking tons of family shots all the time but probably not sharing them. These may be the touristy photos of those touristy locations and people with iPhones that document everything. It also may be misleading if they are looking for the tag Chicago on anything outside city limits.
