yesterday was a pugs practice. we started learning "we all abide" from PDR. we got it together (though not TIGHT) fast. we also kinda started "pass by palestine," but we didn't feel like figuring out its weirdness yet. it was a pretty lightweight practice, but fun as always.
today mayhaw came over and we worked on "sears" and "i'm ruined." they're sounding awesome so far. that free strings plugin has been indispensable!
i also started working on "contemporary holiday instrumentals" for pump audio. they need them this time of year, and are even having a contest for the best one ($500 first place prize) to provide incentive. so i'm gonna put together ten or so and see what happens. even if i don't win any money from the contest, one of them could still get bought by someone else.
