ugh, i'm getting a cold today. alyssa also hurt her back in a fender bender today on the way to her dentist. sucky day for us. i'm hoping full sail wassail (okay, and emergen-C and cold-eez) will make it better. you know what they say: starve a fever, get a cold drunk.
yesterday was another screening of things, the worst worst movie ever, at mayhaw's place. it was just as good the second time.
also, on tuesday mayhaw and i say the woolen men at lola's room. i hadn't seen them since the house party with the shaky hands. those guys write really good songs man. we also stayed for archers (since one of those dudes put mayhaw and i on the guest list). they were really weird. very strange stage presence, but pretty good i think. i might see them again next week at holocene with mayhaw. we'll see. and and and also played, but mayhaw and i are old men and we left before they went on. we talked to one of the dudes from the band for a bit though. nice dude.
ky gave me a DVD of a bunch of tracks he did as well as most of the ones we did last week with mayhaw. ky's vocals sound perfect as always. mayhaw's vocals are mind-shredding. most of the others are pretty small additions, but will give the songs just a little something extra that otherwise wouldn't have been there. i love it. i'll start posting some rough mixes here (or on alexarrowsmith.com) pretty soon!
