Patroclus, I'm coming back to the apartment because this is obscene. I can't work and study from a hotel--more to the point, I can't afford to.

I'll be fixing up a bed for myself in the study room lest I try to throttle anyone who speaks to me. It feels necessary, somehow.

And before anyone starts asking ridiculous questions: No, I'm not alright ( Read more... )

i didn't sign up for this, if i don't vent i'll explode, go back to greece and keel over, the magnetic left hand, been kept in bondage, you don't own me, made to be broken, always belonged to someone else, perpetually in distress, can't you hear me? - s.o.s

Good. You don't need to make up a bed. Have ours.

That part wasn't negotiable.

I'm not going to be at the apartment until maybe 4 am, I'm fixing up things at the restaurant still.

You might as well us our bed since it's more comfortable.

I'll leave some dinner out for you on the counter next to the fridge, the baklava is in it to keep it from going bad.

Thank you--and I'm sorry I'm being intolerable. There's just only so much I can deal with right now and I'd rather not end up taking it out on you.

We're all having issues right now, so don't apologize when it's not your fault this whole thing started. It'll work itself out.

I hope so. But it is my fault in part--I should have stayed out of it. I have no right to speak to him like that, but speaking to him does not fail to rile me.

He had no right to speak with either of us the way he did. I was trying to move on and be less...angry at Hector for the events around my death.

It was all our faults, something we will have to sit and work on once he returns.

What if he doesn't? He was right about my remark being callous.

He could no more stay mad at you than I could, Briseis. He has a temper, but when he loves, he does it with his whole heart. Just give him some time to cool down.

I hate just... leaving arguments open.

I know-he would always accept an apology, but it makes him more difficult to deal with in the long run.

I'm not apologising--as callous as it was, he needed to hear it.
