though I do know I dislike the space bar only working part-time. Quite aggravating, that, and requiring much backspacing.
Anyhoo, I gotta shut off the internet tomorrow if I have a chance in hell of paying summer mandatories, so also shutting off Netflix and such related things, dropping to the absolute cheapest plan available for my phone... the budgeting didn't work out that great for this summer. Oh well. Maybe next year will be better, since I now get the handicapped discounts for the rent. Those have helped a LOT.
On the plus side, it may be possible to use summertime to get those damned numbers under control. We'll see. My... what do they call them? - patient assistance person from the hospital may be able to assist with healthy foodstuffs, and managed to find me the most likely option for the cheapest insulin the doc'll let me have (and basically, they're stuck with that one unless they put me back on the Lantus I was getting free, damn my pathetic income), which allows for visits to the grandbaby - Oh, did I mention I'm a gramma now? Kid'll be one in July! - so that's of the good.
Plus, I now own 2 ducks and 16 chickens, of which, so far, only 1 is a confirmed rooster, so eggs will shortly no longer be an issue, though I think I may have 2 drakes, so probably meat for the table instead of eggs. Also so far, most everything I planted in the garden is coming up, which means even more particularly fresh and healthy foods available! Also lots of exercise, because the weeds are growing spectacularly and one must chase small stupid birds about while telling them to "get in the pen!" repeatedly. The ducks typically follow directions, at least. 'course, when it takes more than 10 minutes to round up the babies, they decide I didn't mean it and then I have to shoo them back inside again, too. Idjuts. (Ah, yes, these are clearly not at the apartment. Dad bought a place across the highway that is 1.1 acres to which I will move once we get house on it, which probably means I'll already be in the process of paying him for it. I'm seeing that taking quite a while, of course, because I gotta pay off the back hospital bills of roughly 10K first. We still haven't got electricity out to the garage that is there!)
But yeah, the battle of the sugars rages on. I'm still not on disability, since apparently I have to have screwed the pooch and been utterly unable to work instead of coming up with ways to compensate for the issues I have with getting the job done (grrhissspit some more), but I may make an appointment with the people at ECKAN who can read all the bloody fine print in order to apply for the third time. I am clearly not improving, sadly, just allowing a little more to slide and trying to compensate where I can. Ugh. Anyways, that's the update until I am at a wifi point and in posting mode, or have internet and the same...
Laters.
