This is the story I started writing for last summer's Weir/Zelenka Thing-a-thon, the one that wanted to be gen. Trying to fit a romance between Elizabeth and Radek just wouldn't have worked, because the story kept drifting toward Elizabeth fulfilling her duties as leader of Atlantis - an essentially isolating role. Forth and Raleigh need their own story, I think. They're kind of the competant version of Jay Felgar. :) Also, I would miss swoopiness as well.

Forth and Raleigh probably do need their own story. Because honestly, who *wouldn't* want to explore an alien world? I mean, even the mold or moss! (Parrish always made sense that way to me)
