I *always* want to go to the beach. It makes me happy to think that Elizabeth could have a lovely, relaxing day, though.

Thank you! One reason I love this pairing is because he seems like he would never try to overpower her in any way. And they make me happy *g*

oh i love elizabeth *going* for the garlic bread. and hee! ""There's no such thing as try," Teyla said. "Either you succeed or you do not."

there's a wonderful cadence to the progression of moments and images in this story. the moment when radek and elizabeth are discussing touching the ocean is lovely.

there should *so* be beach umbrellas. and other things. this is such a delightful story, and the matter of fact way their connection is expressed is very fine.

There should definitely be beach umbrellas. And I wish that the show would take the time to show us some relaxation once in a while, but if they don't, I'll be happy to write my own. Thank you for letting me know that the pacing worked for you - I always worry about that.

i always want to see those quiet 'down time' moments on the show (sg1 and sga). thankfully we have fanfic. and i'm drawn to writing those quiet times too....something very fulfilling about reading and writing a glimpse of the potential peace and quiet in their lives. as if it somehow balances out all the intensity in a vital way. :)

Oh, this is wonderful :D It's subtle and perfect. I eeped at the Rodney!look on Cadman's face, and laughed at Yoda!Teyla.

Thank you for this *grins*

You just know that Rodney was incredibly disappointed when Elizabeth said he couldn't take the jumper underwater! And Teyla has no idea why Elizabeth laughed like that, but I'm thinking there might be a movie night in the offing soon for them.

I'm glad you enjoyed it!
