[She knows Josh from the institute, but it's been so long that she doesn't recognize his voice, nor has she seen his black form before.]

I'm Lorna. I could fly to you and bring you a coat if you'd like.

A lot of X-men are here, Josh, so you have friends scattered around in three cities. I lead the Manhattan team, so don't be afraid to ask me if you need anything at all.

Manhattan team? Does that mean there's more than one team, or something?

There's three of them. See, everyone gets teleported into three different cities when they show up here--there's Manhattan, Seattle and Truth or Consequences. Cannonball and Moonstar lead the team in Seattle, while Angel has the one in ToC. We're all split apart, but we do still work together to our best ability.

In Manhattan, it's just me, Santo and Pixie.

I think I'd like that coat you offered.

[He'd talk more about the X-Men when she arrived]

[And she'll find him sitting outside the building with his back against the wall and arms folded in front of him to keep himself warm.]

[It only takes her a few minutes to show up, and she's carrying a big, black jacket in her hands when she arrives. When she lands, she's quick to approach him, and she hands over the jacket.]

Here you go. Sorry if I took too long, hon.

[When he takes the jacket, Josh is careful not to touch Lorna at all and even proceeds to take a step back from her once he has it in his hands]

I didn't wait too long. Thanks for coming.

[He shrugs into the jacket and wraps it around himself snugly to try and warm up]

I forgot how cold New York is, believe it or not.

It's no problem. C'mon, I'll buy you a hot chocolate, or something and you can warm up some.

[She gestures for him to follow her.]

It's easy to forget how cold New York can be, especially if you show up here with no coat on. Did you just come from San Francisco?

Yes...uh, no. Well. I was in San Fran for awhile. [pause] I actually just came from Genosha though. Not sure how long I've been there now, but it's been awhile.

[Not putting two and two together and remembering that she was the one who'd flipped out because of that place.]

[That makes Lorna stop, and stare over at him.]

You were on Genosha?! Why were you there, and why were you staying there?!

[That place was littered with death and despair. No person and certainly no child deserved to go there.]
