[The feed clicks on. This is nothing new.

Loki Laufeycolt looks like he's about to say something, like "Where is this?" or "Is my brother around?" but...he hesitates. Looks over his shoulder (the keen of hearing may hear what appears to be giggling) and trots. He trots a bit more ( Read more... )

Loki?

[ Well his presence is a small comfort to the Lady Sif, Shield Mare of Asgard. She'd have preferred it to be Thor but one can't have everything it would seem. ]

Doubtless this sudden change in heart is due to the fact that, at present, you are not trying to destroy this realm.

[ Small children tend to run away from death and destruction and creepy ponies cackling about master plans alongside Dr. Doom. Thor, on the other hand, gave them rides whenever he visited. ]

[The presence of the Lady Sif was a balm in this confusing and somewhat stalked time.] But it's really rather disconcerting! How did my brother manage being followed around all the time by children wanting pony rides?

Infinite patience.

[ otherwise known as: she has no clue either. ]

I must ask: have you found any sign of the others? Searched have I, but to no avail.

No...all I've encountered were mortals and a strange man who insists that all Asgardians are bipedal.

I'm Loki! I...

[And he hesitates, flicks an ear at the sound of children (it's like survival horror except with pony rides instead of Pyramid Head chasing after him, horrors...not that Loki knows who Pyramid Head is, but the point remains!) And he starts trotting off again.]

Do you know why they seem to think that an Asgardian is such a novelty? Surely after my brother they'd be used to the sight of equines in their cities...

Are you sure? Everyone knows that Asgardians are hoofed, despite what the myths might lead you to believe. Are you sure they're not simply...mortals posing as Asgardians for no doubt dire purposes?

It's probably because you're a pony!

That does not explain anything! Just because you have hands doesn't mean that I'm expecting you to turn knobs for me, and just because I have hooves doesn't mean that I'll give everyone rides. [Pout. Little does he know that in about seven tags from now he will be giving some pony rides.]

Um...no but it like means that they all probably want a picture with you!

...do you really think so? I mean, of course they would, it's just... [Oddly flattered.]

Loki? Is that you?

Of course! [Who this person is is an issue to be handled in a tag or two, but the fact that everyone knows Loki Laufeycolt is to be expected.]

Why are you a horse with a horn on your head?

What do you mean? I've always been a horse with a horn upon my head. I'm an Asgardian. We Asgardians are fleet of hoof and generally sturdy. And who are you? You seem...familiar with Asgardians, yet not.

Yes? If you have ideas on how to escape a small horde of girls I'd greatly appreciate them.

What is up with all the ponies lately? [Baffled.]

Um, escape from a small horde of girls. I can't say I've ever had that problem. Maybe try running? As fast as you can?

That is a good suggestion. I believe I will take your advice. [Starts moving towards unoccupied (or at least not a school zone) territory, not quite bolting into a gallop but in very much 'I can start running any second now' mode.] As for your question I would not know how to answer that. Are there others about? Have you seen the Lady Sif or Thorincorn or perhaps even my father?
