Okay this looks like home, but its not.

So, I've been brought to another world. I guess I should check that chapter in my superhero manual

Well...anyone know where I can get some waffles?

Here are steps to get waffles.

1. Look left.
2. Look right.
3. Walk down the street until you find a restaurant that might sell them.
4. Go inside the restaurant.
5. Get a table.
6. Order the waffles.
5. EAT THEM.

you didn't state which place you landed in so how is anyone supposed to help with that?

Depends on where you got dropped in! Plus, there are some serious things to consider if you're waffling on a breakfast-related decision. Are you content with chain restaurants, or are you a homemade waffle purist? There are differences between IHOP and waffles made with love that some people just don't understand.

Well, I got dropped in Manhattan. I think I'm a borderline homemade waffle purist. Chain restaurants just can't touch them.

Same here. I'd rather make my own, but if the waffle mood hits, I'll take what I can get. In extreme cases of sudden carb therapy, mashed potatoes can be a good substitute.

I can't help point you to any Ma and Pa type diners in Manhattan, though. I got dropped into NM. Not a bad place, if you like...rocks. And sand. And nothing. We have a monopoly on rocks and sand and nothing.

It still depends where you are, but if you're way uptown you should go to Miss Mamie's Spoonbread or Amy Ruth's and if you kind of midtown-ish you should go to K-Town and find a dessert house cause they put ice cream and stuff on the waffles there and if you're downtown you should find the WAFFLE TRUCK!!!!

I would travel to the ends of the earth for waffles.

K-Town sounds awesome though!

Not really to me, personally. It's something that I know usually happens in this line of work.

I'd find it harder to believe if you weren't.

What city did you end up in?
