It's 99 degrees in Manhattan but feels like 103 with air quality and heat advisories. Our apartment has an air conditioner, so feel free to come over. I'm considering this my mitzvah for the week.

By the way, it seems our mysterious third roommate is gone. Weird. Do people just up and disappear in this place?

I'd love it better if I were near a beach and not in the city.

Then drive out there. It shouldn't be far.

Maybe if I had someone to go with, I would.

"Lucky" isn't the word I would use to describe it.

As great as that sounds, it would be even better if we were in the same place, instead.

I thought people were unable to travel from city to city without using that ridiculous train?

Not many people can fly.
