I've decided to try and get my sleeping pattern back to normal, which involves an all-nighter. Well, technically I've been having all-nighters for a few days now, but this time it's not followed by an "all-dayer" of sleep. I'll have a shower and a coffee in a bit to try and wake me up, followed by more coffee throughout the day. Hopefully I'll ( Read more... )

you are worried with the 'katrina'.
unexpected.

i am an all-nighter,
but i wake up early to go to university (not everyday, but many days, hehe)
and i don't sleep all day,
neither all night again.

eventually,
after 3 days of almost no sleep (read 2 hours)
no one can wake me up,
and i sleep for about 20 hours.

that's me.

vicious circle, yes!
after sleeping all day,
it is impossible to go to bed at a normal time,
and fall asleep.
wasted nights and morning regret,
seems better than laying there wide awake,
for hours.
then it repeats.

about katrina.
i read the livejournals of people staying in the city.
that's what caused the worry,
knowing that these are real people blogging,
and that they might not be alive after the storm.
it just seems more real when you hear from people that are actually there.
