I swear I'm actually working on the second part of A Good Heart and I'm getting back into the swing of things in terms of writing. Sometimes I'm on fire and other times it is like pulling teeth. But I was sitting on the youngest boy's bed, creating a hut/holding a stuffed animal (a knuffel in Dutch and it also means 'hug' which awww) to be used as a punching bag/avoiding the gobs of blood he spat out on me after he knocked his head and bit his lip and I came up with a beginning to the next part and I've got an idea now of where I'm going with it. Woohoo!
In other news? I've created quite the terrifying scene in our laundry room and I'm praying the youngest doesn't come upstairs and see his stuffed animals all strung up by their ears and various other body parts. I'm kind so I've included a picture of the killing fields below. Other than that, I'm mostly just preparing myself for the final part of the Dutch exam and trying to figure out a birthday present for a soon-to-be 13 year old boy. Exciting stuff, I know, but at least I'll be busy with writing again!
