finally back in the zoo, well p-town anyways.
Guess what. I'm Home!!!
So kinda exciting, but not all at the same time. I am so excited to see my Kzoo friends this weekend. Jessie gets in tonight, and we're going out to dinner with anny p, ben jammin, and gizzo. I'm excited. And then tomorrow Meg and Ky are coming down to kzoo!! YAY! I obviously haven't seen them in the past three months and it's about time we get together. yay!
Even cooler, Kathy needed a house/ dog sitter this weekend and told me that ky and meg can stay over if they want to. Perfect timing or what? Robert's counts are down this weekend, the lowest they've ever been. This means that he has like 0 WBC's and his A&C is shit. Aka, very prone to infection. Boo chemo.
Oh yeah to those of you reading this that didn't already know that his cancer is back, sorry. I didn't really tell anyone about it before I left for Germany, mainly because I didn't want to have to deal with it before then. Now it's ok and stuff. He's going through 6 rounds of chemo and then he's getting a re-eval and possibly doing more depending on how his kidneys and such are. He's already done 4 so he has two more. He seems to be dealing with it pretty well, but he was always strong about that kind of stuff. Kind of a just deal with it attitude. Sound familiar?
Coaching again this summer. But not doing lessons because being in the water with the kids apparently hurts my shoulder. So I got 'promoted' kinda by default to work with the Fundamental and Junior groups. This is a cool experience and I think that Vince finally sees that I can handle some more responsibility which is cool. Shoulder is still fun like always. I had an MRI on Monday and I have an appointment with Dr. Veenstra on Mon to review it. Keep your fingers crossed that I don't have to have surgery. I'm hoping some rehab will help it instead of the kinfe. blah blah blah
YAY. I get to see people tonight!! woo hoo!!

Oh funny story. I was coaching yesterday and my kids asked me how old I was. I told them 20. Then they asked me if I had a house and a car and I said no to both. Then they asked me where I lived, and I said with my parents. They were like 'still?!! Why do you still live with them?'. I was kinda speechless and told them to go swim. Haha, kids are funny.
