Note: it's set in the same AU as the yoochun/junsu fanfic. after it. it's written from changmins pov (this is the 10th adventcalendar fic for lyzlyrie)
changmin fell in love the first time when he was in high school. and it wasn't how he expected it.
he and his family went to a concert from his school. he wasn't thrilled but then a boy stepped up, holding a mircophone in his hand he opened his mouth and began to sing.
it felt as if the time stoppes. changmin had never heard anything as beautiful in his life. the boy sang like he was an angel or something.
he knew he wanted this boy.

until now changmin had always done what his parents wanted him to do. he had good grades, was a member of the student council and dated good looking girls.
this was the first time he did something he was quite sure his parents would not like.
he lay in his bed and thought about the boy. his happy smile and his voice.
at this moment he decided he was in love.

in the time after the concert his grades fell he was never bad or anything in school but his grades were not as good as they used to be. his parents said it was puberty he agreed with them.
on the next day in school he found out that the boys name was junsu. he was in the last year of highschool and he was good friends with lee eunhyuk and park yoochun. changmin never heared of them but that was okay he wanted to concentrate on junsu.

it took changmin a while before he confessed to junsu. but he did it in winter. snow lying outside and junsu had smiled at him and agreed to go out on a date.

their first date sucked. they met and went to the cinema. the first thing junsu said was you have to know i love yoochun. and he will be the most important person in my life for ever.
changmin had been so intimidated by this declaration that he did everything wrong.
after he went home he was quite sure that junsu never wanted to do anything again with him.

the next morning junsu had greeted him warmly and took his hand.
changmin was introduced to yoochun, a quiet boy, and eunhyuk, a loud boy. he found out that they were in a relationship but he never found out how that worked.

the years went by. he studied like his parents wanted him to. he still had good grades and he still met people his parents wanted him to meet.
but when he came home after a long day the apartement in wich he lived was filled with the smell of food and his boyfriend welcomed him with a warm smile and a hug.
sometimes he just sneaked into the flat just to hear junsu sing, he always did it while cooking.
