Turns out it was a really good thing I didn't go to the Naked Men's thing, as someone reported them to the front desk and it got shut down. The organizer has stopped doing them all together. Given that I never got around to going to one, this is kind of convenient for me. Bryan had cleaned up the kitchen when I got home, or at least made decent headway on doing so.
I got to rehearsal just in time, and was surprised to see the singers there as well. The choreography started out slow, but he quickly had to start choreographing two sets - one for singers and one for dancers. And even then had to drop some of it, like an *awesome* sassy lift because not all of the dancers could do it. We have a single sequence involving a hitch rear attitude, unwind, pas de bourree, double that was also almost cut because the other dancers can't. They'll learn. We learned the entire piece, and by the end of the night my brain literally couldn't absorb any more choreo, though I was still able to follow along when Charles (the choreographer) did it with us. We only sort of got a video to study from, which is going to make things interesting, but I'm happy. Not just because every time he needed to work something out or demonstrate something, he called me to do it, though obviously that helps. I'm just delighted that we finally have something technical to do.
