I've been watching way too many kinetic typography videos these days. In fact, I've been watching too many videos. Period. It's a strange attraction I have with words. It's not the usual bibliophilic condition of an English major, but a fascination with the aesthetics of words themselves. It's amazing how just the arrangement and font can alter the whole meaning of the text. Kinetic typography just pushed this one step further, where sound becomes words and words become images. This is rather ironic though, since a picture is worth a thousand words, but now we have come to a point where a thousand words make up that picture. Then again, they're all just words that we can manipulate and create. So who is to know what is the real picture now?
