I like listening to Lennon so much because it makes me feel that there is actually love in this world. Just for those few minutes, the span of one song I have that optimistic belief and life is suddenly made bearable. I guess, just as every other girl wants to have their own fairy tale, I would want someone to sing a lennon song to me. To make me believe love exists, even if I know it is a lie. For just that short period of time, I could be be carefree and innocent again.
