Wow. The summer is over. I can honestly say that this summer has been exceptional. Australia was amazing. I loved the people, I loved the trip, I hated that it went by so fast, but I know that I will see Australia and the people on my trip again someday. With all the drama and whatever they yelled at us about in our letters, I really feel like the group was close. Obviously it would be extremely awkward eating lunch alone with certain people but that doesn't mean I don't miss them or want to see them again. Thank god my dreams didn't come true and I remember the trip haha and all the good times we had. There is only one person that I feel like I could have gotten closer to but didn't really get the chance. I do think however that I will see them again so there is always next time. Coming home from Australia was slightly traumatic and also a bit tiring but it had to be done. I had some boring days getting used to being home again and then after much planning I was off to Martha's Vineyard with Zoey. We had a grand old time on that little island. Everyday I felt as if I was in the presence of great friends enjoying life (and facebook of course). That trip ended on a slightly weird note but that didn't affect the trip too much. I kinda don't remember what I did after I got home. I had a few boring days I'm sure when alot of my friends weren't around. I did break it up though with a trip to Washington DC and then a trip to Ohio. The car ride was actually not that bad. It went fairly quickly and we got to the school in good time. Every single person on the campus must have asked me if I was going to the school which was slightly annoying but not too bad. I have officially moved up from sister to "prospective student". yay. We left the day after we got there so it wasn't a very long trip but long enough. I flew home on the tenth plane this summer and then I was back and had some time with my friends from home. Tons of fun ensued. It was so Brooklyn. So tomorrow I am off to school and I am rather not excited about it. Hopefully this year will be different but if this summer is any indicator it has the potential to be.
