Perhaps I should be working, but then it is not good to work everyday and I did decide to have a Sunday's off policy :)
After a long day of teaching yesterday, which was very tiring, I still got up bright and early and walked up to Forest Hill to see Jenny. A lovely stroll through the Horniman gardens (did you know they had goats there? I did not know that, I love goats!) and it was full up of wildlife, all getting very close to us which was surprising. Goats, geese & chickens aside (which are in an enclosure) I saw a green woodpecker, lots of magpies, a beautiful fox and some squirrels. I felt like I was in a disney movie.
In the gardens the daffodils were in full bloom, and I sat in a tree trunk playing my drum. The morning was rounded off with hot chocolate and a large piece of carrot cake, and an unfeasibly long conversation about the brilliance of faeries :D
I got back about 1pm, and since I finally got some work this week I decided to take Dave out for lunch. Organic juice & baguettes in the Blue Mountain cafe in Sydenham, most excellent.
Now I am still full from my yummy roast dinner, watching Clueless and painting my nails. Perfect Sunday behaviour.
