A few days off
I have some days holiday I have to take before the end of March, so I had chosen these days, from Thursday 26th till Sunday 8th, and I return on March 9th.
I could have done without this, to be honest. There is way too much to do in Gastro, and the other permanent Sec doesn't arrive till Tuesday. I did a handover with her and she can contact me at home whenever she wishes.
In the meantime, I can catch up with all the silly bits and pieces I have to do.
Yesterday they picked up the car and it has been serviced again. Last year, I had the oven professionally cleaned. Yes, it is easy to keep it reasonably clean anyhow, myself, but if you saw the job this compay does, you would know why I have it done once a year, professionally.
Today we are off to Stratford again. We won't take the camera this time, as we really do have enough pix of Stratford, having been there often. We are going to see the RSC do The Tempest, which is very much my favourite play.
Monday there is a conference I am attending, for all staff, it's a feedback day.
I am going to have a little peace, at home.
