A wonderful week
On Wednesday, my boss from Gastro organised a swap with the Eye Dept so I could go straight up there Thursday.
What a mess.
No Theatre lists drawn up, piles of unbooked appointments, lots of undone paperwork, nothing organised and so I set straight at it. I have a typing clerk and an admin clerk working for me, and I am happy as a pig in the proverbial.
I hadn't realised how bored I was in a nice, neat little department with lovely people and a very fair boss. I needed a bit of action.....
