My roommate's point of view: (in a nutshell) We are all going to die one day, so let's let our fear hinder us from taking advantage of the fact that we are alive.
My take on his point of view/As The World Turns: (again, in a nutshell) If it really doesn't matter, then why not do whatever you want to do, whatever turns you on, makes you tick, etc? Do you really think I feel bad or even really consider it, when I fart in public? That 'excuse me' I may say is merely out of politeness.
I've been googling way too much today.
