Real-life dating is way weirder than l remember.
The last time l guess l was actually with someone who lived in the same city as me, let alone the same COUNTRY was about five years ago. l'm pretty okay with the in-a-relationship part of dating, but it's the whole half-awkward half-pleasant not-quite-dating stage that's really nerve-wracking for me. l'm just not entirely sure how to behave. Regrettably my last experience in that department is from when l was...sixteen. Or so. NOT SO RELEVANT TO ADULT LlFE. The rules have changed my friends, and methinks l come off as much too overeager when l'm meeting someone.
l had a bit of a fling with a friend of mine a month or so ago, and that didn't pan out. Now l think (???) maybe l am having some kind of thing with a boy from work. Though, l do know that drunken make-outs do not a relationship make. But seriously, he seems kinda like the boy version of me. lt could be nice? Only now l'm not sure where to go, and l feel all nervy, and probably will continue to feel that way until things seem more certain....either for the good or the neutral. lt's sorta exciting to be dating again, though.
Now if only l could get my mind off of boys, and focus ON MY GODDAMN HOMEWORK. Geez.
