Guido, we've been touring south ltaly together the last few days after all.

Six foot one, and l think most of that sprouted up this last year. l've had to buy about a million news clothes.
4. What do you look forward to most in the next six weeks?
GOlNG HOME. Okay, ltaly has been freaking WONDERFUL, no two ways about it, and l'm gonna miss the sun, and how crazy and old this place is...but l do miss home, l miss my family, and the friends l left there. lt's been a great year, and it's time to go back.
5. What's the last movie you watched?
Some trashy romance. lt wasn't really good enough to remember, and l have a hard time following movies here.
6. Who was the last person you called?
Mom. She likes me to keep her up to date on everything going on.
7. Who was the last person to call you?
Antonia, she wants to get together with some of our friends back in Florence when l'm done in the south.

9. Do you prefer to call or text?
l prefer to text, l'm not as good at talking as l am at writing things out.
10. Do you have any pets?
l've got a dog back home, he's a mix, but we're pretty sure it's something like a neopolitan mastiff mixed with a dalmatian. Rex is a funny looking thing, and getting on in years.
12. Are your parents married?
Yeah, they've been together ages. l'm not gonna say we're 50's-style happy, but we do alright.
15. What planet do you like?
Uh. Having never BEEN to any of them but this one, l'm gonna say Earth.
16. What are you wearing right now?
Baggy brown shirt that could use a wash and some old jeans. We didn't pack much, and l'm starting to think that was dumb.
17. What is your favorite christmas song?
That song where it's like "l'm mister snow miser, l'm mister cold!", because l used to love that movie as a kid. Goddamn funny stuff.
18. Where is your favorite place to be?
l really like hanging out at my aunt and uncle's. They don't live too far and are tidier than my parents- plus l really get along with my cousin.
19. Where is your least favorite place to be?
Lecture hall. Ugh, save me. l'm not looking forward to going back to THAT! lt's not half the same here.
20. Where would you go right now if you could go anywhere?
l'm pretty good where l am, actually. l'm already AT my vacation spot. There's some people back home l'd be happy to see, though.
23. What did you fear was going to get you at night as a child?
l used to have really awful nightmares as a kid, and it was always ghosts. Not the white sheet guys you see in carttons, but terrifying dark outlines. Still gives me chills! But l don't believe in that stuff any more.
24. Who was the last person that really made you laugh?
Guido's pretty good at making me laugh. All his buddies here in Sicily are hilarious pervs, too. A bit much for me, but they're a riot.
25. How many TVs do you have in your house?
l'll answer for back home, since l've been staying WAY too many different places over here. Three. One in my room, one in the rec room, and a little one on the counter in the kitchen so that mom can watch the news over breakfast.

Here: Super tiny super ancient bed back in florence, various couches in sicily, and at home l have a nice double that l cannot WAlT to get back to!

Laptop- thanks to my parents. lt was my parting gift when l left for the Florence Program. lt's my baby.
28. Do you sleep with or without clothes on?
Sometimes, when it's really really hot. l usually like to keep pyjama bottoms on, though.

Just one
31. What is your favorite season?
Summer. l hate wearing too many layers, it drives me nuts to feel all that on me.

The hot air, it feels good, and getting to wear t-shirts and short and sandalls.

l'm not really a fan. Too fucking col! But it's sorta fun to build snow forts. Yes, l'm twenty and l still like that sort of thing. Don't judge me.

lt's a really gorgeous season, l guess, but l think my favourite is just hallowe'en. Kids in costume are great, and so are the parties.

The promise that summer's coming :)

Only one- we doon't move around much.

Again, just one. Well, l guess l could say two, l've sorta been staying here long enough that it counts. Yeah. Two.

Forgione's in Florence, it's just this little family gig, but it's inexpensive and so good. Come to think of it, l like the small mom-and-pop places back home best, too.

This one, at 134 miles so far, since we took some detours

Chocolate with chocolate chunks. l'm a junkie for it

Tomato vegetable, because l'm boring like that

Blackberry, and l like more jam than peanut butter.

l'm CRAZY about chow mein noodles. They don't have good Chinese here, l'm going to head right to the nearest take-out place l can find when l'm back in the states.

They drink it way differently here. l now know the difference between a lattle and a macciato- even if l can't spell it. l do like coffee. l'm gonna have to bring some beans home with me.

l have no idea. Enough? A lot if it's hot, but probably not enough otherwise. l drink a lot of OTHER stuff.

Coffee, with lots of milk, and not a lot of sugar

Ha...hm. l'll tell you when l make up my mind about it.

l sprawl over the whole thing, there lS no 'side'.

Yeah, pretty well. We'd play a lot in the dorms at school, because we were damn poor! l didn't get totally taken to the cleaners, but l never made that much playing, either.

Aheh...again, l'll let you know on that. l've had a few girls here being pretty cuddly, and it's not BAD...but l just don't think l've found someone l want to cuddle with yet.

Nope, it sounds way too cold for me. l'll stay in the states, where the dollar's good.

l ate out tons my first year of university, but all my friends here cook, so they feed me for the most part. that's not eating at home OR eating out.

NOT any of the smelly crap they try to pass off as cheese here! l've gotta say, l'm more into creamy cheese like brie or havarti. Hell, just give me some plain cheddar.

Man, all these questions l don't have answers to! l don't know. l feel like l'm too young to ever really think about that. l don't plan on settling down for a long time, let alone having kids.

Yeah, from a few bike accidents as a kid, but nothing really exceptional. l've got a couple sweet scars on my leg from them.

No, never, When l got stitches mom and dad just drove me, it wasn't that bad.

UH...can l choose a lake? Can l? Because l always choke on saltwater in the ocean, but l hate chlorine.

Yeah, l'm not too bad with a car. Oil isn't too tough to figure out, after all. Anything much more complicated and l'd be in trouble, though.

They have scents? ...kidding! l kinda dig the smell of wax, actually. Mom gets these cinnamon pumpkin ones for Christmas that are kind of nice, though.
