Today was pretty much the best ever.
Well, okay.Work was exhausting and Joan has been getting on my nerves a bit BUT OTHERWlSe, total awesomesauce.
l really love the class l have today. lt's all business and trade secrets, and basically how NOt to get into a contract that will fuck you over, and how NOt to get sued. l love this teacher, she's funny and she speaks straight up.
l've really been enjoying my bike. lt's a creaky old thing, but possibly the best thing l've bought in a long time.
Ever since moving to Toronto l've wanted to go grocery shopping at Chinatown, it's so cheap and different. Too far form home, though, and l hate taking cabs. So l took the bike. lt was WAY fun. l'm really gonna have to educate myself about what some of the weirder vegetables there were, though. l didn't recognize a LOT of stuff. l need to learn to cook more. Groceries that would usually cost me 40$ cost me under 20$, and all fresh stuff, too. There's some stuff l don't trust chinatown for though, so l still went to the local grocery store for those XD
Biking around is so relaxing and fun.
Aaand, then l went to the normal store, and got some biodegradable garbage bags. l think l'm turning more and more into an environerd the more time goes by. l never want a car, l've been composting, recycling like a demon, trying to be totally sustainable. And l REALLY enjoy it, it's a good way to live.
The vegetarian thing is working really well too l feel like l've got more energy, and largely l'm just happier.
So l got home and made this AWESOMe salad ohgodsotasty. Brocolli, cucumber all cut up together, tossed in yoghurt and rasberry vinaigrette. Almonds and blueberries on top. OH MAN. l always like the look of those brocolli salads in magazines, and it taste awesoooome!
Got all my laundry, cleaning, etc done today for my friend from Montreal/Venezuela who's coming over tomorrow.
Caught this REALLY awesome sunset that was all pink and grey, and now the most unbelievable colour of purple.
Might go dancing tonight.
