I'm leaving for Canada tomorrow! 8D
When I came here for the summer I wasn't really sure what to expect. I knew it was gonna be awesome to see Emily again, but other than that I wasn't sure I was gonna have any fun. Turns out my mom DOES live in the middle of nowhere, and I didn't get to go deep see fishing (after waiting 8 years, wryyyyyy?), but things were actually pretty good. I even made some new friends which is like WHOA, hella rare for me. It was a lot of fun to meet Jess (AND BURY THE HATCHET?), and also Steve, who's this guy I've known PRETTY MUCH since I was twelve. He's a really nice guy- and of course I being like I am, have COMPLETELY convinced myself that he's almost the perfect build/height for Ryn. Totally wrong face though.
HA. Emily and I saw a 100% perfect Ryn look alike at the brewery we went to. AMAZING.
So...now that it's actually time for me to leave, I feel kinda sad. It's weird thinking I won't see my friends again for years, even. I wish I had been staying in town so I'd have been able to see more of them, and do more with them. I'm gonna miss people a lot. ;___;
On that note, Em and Jess: thank you guys so much for being awesome. I mean, you both got me some cool stuff (kjfhah BOAT WHISTLE, jkhfklajf HORNBLOWER BOOKS) even thought I'm like, completely abysmal at getting girfts for people 8D;;; And you two were also really great hosts for showing me around and keeping me from going out of my head with boredom.
I am still looking forwards to going home, though. WOW do I miss my own healthy cooking, and benig a vegetarian, and my friends. I can't wait to see Kris again, and I can't wait for the cabin trip The Mob is going on once I'm back from Missouri. I am just gonna lay around in a minimal bathing suit (FAT BE DAMNED) getting tan, and wake up at 5 am to go fishing on the lake.
Siiiigh! Why can't we all live in the same country, huh? I'm so bad at keeping in contact with people....
